Glenn Greenwald ушел из им же основанного The Intercept - потому что тамошние редакторы не пропустили его статью про Байдена. Он им предлагал устроить полемику по этому поводу, опубликовать его статью и их возражения, но это их не устроило. Мало того, они еще требовали, чтобы он не публиковал ее в других местах, хотя по контракту такое право у него есть.

В пандан к этому - я отписался от Hot Air. Там все наоборот, их невертрампизм принял совершенно неприличные масштабы, как у Драджа год назад. Allahpundit'a тамошнего читать смысла больше нет, он пишет то же самое, что и Вокс, к примеру, а Вокс я и без него читаю.

First, why not? Did anyone (including Biden himself) seriously claim the laptop or emails were not authentic?
He probably went ahead and just got himself a new laptop (and forgot about the damaged one). That can happen if one is rich and stupid.

I bet you don't know how it is done in real world :) Even in "Pops and Moms shops", if they have IT personnel, like admin - they would tell them to do it. NOBODY goes to repair shops anymore ! That is dead business.

I don't really understand what are you trying to imply. That it's not Hunter's laptop? That it was not him who personally delivered it to the repair shop? That people do not repair their laptops?
That people, who do repair, actually show up to take them back?
Yes, I'd give you that: Hunter Biden appears to be a combination of careless, rich, and stupid.

when facts are presented, it's better to judge them, not the source.
Unfortunately, many established and (once) respected newspapers are trying to silence this story, while they didn't bother checking the facts when reporting a bogus like "Trump Russian collusion" for 3 years.

Again - not even Bidens (or their campaign) even claim that the materials are not authentic.
They try to smear their publishing as "Russian operation" (BTW, claim directly contradicted by US intelligence), but not the substance of the claims. Interesting.
