Администрация Трампа наносит очередной удар по достижениям сил света.

 

For the past three weeks, BuzzFeed News called and emailed Education Department officials attempting to pinpoint the agency’s position.

Finally on Thursday, Liz Hill, a spokesperson for the agency, responded “yes, that’s what the law says” when asked again if the Education Department holds a current position that restroom complaints from transgender students are not covered by a 1972 federal civil rights law called Title IX.

Asked for further explanation on the department’s position, Hill said Friday, “Title IX prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex, not gender identity.”

She added that certain types of transgender complaints may be investigated — but not bathroom complaints.

“Where students, including transgender students, are penalized or harassed for failing to conform to sex-based stereotypes, that is sex discrimination prohibited by Title IX,” Hill said. “In the case of bathrooms, however, long-standing regulations provide that separating facilities on the basis of sex is not a form of discrimination prohibited by Title IX.”

Define опасность. По большей части речь шла о том, что девочки не хотели, чтобы к ним в раздевалки ходили мужики и на них смотрели.

Wrong. Мальчик, который решил, что он девочка, и которого в этом странном решении поддерживают родители, ACLU и Департамент Образования - один хрен мальчик. Технически-то. Пока не изуродует себя физически.

i think the whole discussion ( not your fault or mine) - is insane.
transgenders are a small, fringe group, much abused - apparently black transgender queens are often murdered, at some increased rate compared to other murders - but toilets.. should be left alone. if a transgender boy "изуродует себя физически." then he is a whatever he wants to be and uses girl's facilities. until then - depending. if he is a "social trans" like a boy in girl makeup and clothes but with a penis - he needs his own bathroom. seriously. to protect from both sexes.

само собой вся эта история не стоит выеденного яйца. Хотя левые ее раздувают изо всех сил. С точки зрения банального причинения неудобства, когда 1% населения внезапно по прихоти неизвестно кого приобретает права, которые просто раздражают оставшиеся 99% , ну хорошо, не всех раздражают, может быть большинству плевать, но при этом тех кого раздражает как минимум на порядок больше этого пресловутого процента. Но как говориться "назло бабушке отморожу уши"
