Две статьи: одна справа, про то, как автор разговаривал с детьми о расовых отношениях, в том числе и об обстоятельствах, в которых черных лучше избегать. Автора после этой статьи уволили. Другая слева, недавняя, где автор задается вопросом - Can My Children Be Friends With White People? Ответ в статье содержится предсказуемый. Он там, разумеется, валит все на Трампа, и это, разумеется, обычная нынешняя ерунда, где следствие путается с причиной. Не надо прикидываться, что черные ненавидят белых из-за Трампа, когда какой-нибудь Ta-Nehisi Coates со своим расизмом и требованиями репараций стал непререкаемым авторитетом для либералов задолго до появления Трампа на политическом горизонте, не говоря уж про учителя его Болдуина и всяких там Малкольмов Икс.

This is fucking bullshit. I commute to NYC every fucking day. I see lots of poor and destitute on my way. Some of these are white, most are black. Only blacks are aggressive and obnoxious. In my 20 years in NYC area I saw and was a subject of hostility from blacks multiple times and never ever from whites, asians or latinos, even though there are plenty of those around.

I came to US fairly racially unprejudiced, but my life here made me seriously racist. The article in the topic reflects my inner feeling and thinking on the subject very well, even though I've never seen it before.

Moreover, I see tendencies like this in the much younger generation, generation of my children. They are very "progressively" indoctrinated in schools and colleges, and yet they start expressing same thoughts - it is better to stay well away from the "protected minorities" - LGBTQwhatever, blacks, muslims and so on. Nothing but trouble, hostility and contempt is expected from them.

And this is sad truth.

BTW, to add more color to the picture, my wife comes from a muslim family and my kids are not even considered proper jews. Although, my older son's wife is working on it very hard :)
